Virtual Tour of the School
Welcome to The Richard Clarke First School
-
Choosing your child’s first school is an important decision and there is no better way to get a feel for the ethos of a school, than by going in to have a first hand tour. In the meantime we would like you to have a look at all the videos below to help you meet staff, children and parents and get a feel for our school. Please also look around the website to find out more. We hope this will help you decide to choose us for your child’s education. I know I’m biased, but I think we’re pretty special! Feel free to give the school a ring if you have any questions or would like to make an appointment for an individual tour during the school day and/or have informal chat if you can’t make our open events.
We look forward to welcoming you.

“The school has been brilliant and we have seen such a change in our son, for the better. Thanks to your nurturing, supportive and incredible teachers . We also love that you provide activities which make such special memories and makes school fun!”
“All staff are very approachable, friendly and professional. The children are given lots of opportunities in the after school programme of clubs. a wonderful community feel in the school . My son absolutely loves it!”
“My daughter arrived in Reception a reluctant writer. She leaves Richard Clarke working at greater depth in all subjects with a particular strength in writing! Thank you for personalising provision , not pushing her to write too soon and enabling her to fulfil her potential.”
“My daughter loves The Richard Clarke First school. She has grown in confidence this year and this was clearly evident in her recent class assembly. She has thoroughly enjoyed the lessons taught this year and often talks about them . I feel the weekly homework is just right, as the Mastery Mo section allows the child to go into greater depth if they wish too without the pressure of doing so if they don’t.”
New virtual tour videos being updated and coming soon.
‘THIS IS A GOOD SCHOOL, staff present as upbeat, optimistic and capable and this, in turn, rubs off on the pupils. This is a school where pupils are keen to attend, enjoy their lessons, behave well and experience success. ‘
