Year 4 had a brilliant time at Condover Hall on their residential trip. They faced their fears on the activities at height, honed their skills at archery and tested their teamwork and memory on the grid of stones and team building games. The we simply had fun in the laser quest and the silent disco. The children were a pleasure to be with and their behaviour and attitude was exemplary. The leaders at Condover commented we were the best school they’d ever had visit. Many thanks to parents for supporting this magical event that will stay in the children’s memories forever! Also, enormous thanks to the school staff who helped organise the trip and accompanied the trip; it’s a massive responsibility and a huge amount of voluntary time given, much appreciated I’m sure by children and parents.

International Dance Day and danceathon April 2022

Thank to everyone for supporting the sponsored danceathon day to help raise money for the school and celebrate international dance day. We enjoyed a warm up with Georgia from Burton Albion Community trust, key stage dance playlists, Disney workshop with Spotlight academy dance teacher Angelina, an round the world workshop and ballroom for beginners with our very own Mrs Hanson. We also learnt about the origins of different dances in class. The day was finished off nicely with our outside disco. A great day was had by all. Thank you to the PTFA for your help and thank you to all the sponsors who helped raise money.
